The book titled “Chamar Samudayako Pahichan ra Awastha” is a research based publication by Samata Foundation. The book comprises not only the history and current status of Chamar community but also its sacrifice and struggle for the dignity and self-respect. Most backwarded among the Dalit community, the book has incorporated the social, economic, political, health, education, professional status, labor, skills and struggles of Chamar community. In this research book, the identity, struggles and current status of Community are presented in factual and objective manner.

In addition to this, the changes that has appeared in the Chamar community, their struggle to live a dignified life in the society and the sacrifices they have made for the nation are archived in the book.
