The initiative aims to enhance Dalit access to public services through effective implementation of governance mechanisms by advancing the role of Dalit representatives, CSOs, Youth, and journalists.To fulfill the objective, Samata Foundation is seeking applications from interested Nepali professionals for the following positions:

Vacancy for a Lead Researcher/ Researcher/ Enumerators/  Resource Person

To fulfill the objectives of the project, Samata Foundation  is seeking applications from qualified Nepali professionals for the positions of  (i) Lead Researcher – 1 ( for 1 month) (ii) Researcher – 2 ( for 3 months) (iii) Enumerators –  8  ( for 15 days) and (iv) Resource Person- 1 .

Vacancy for a Graphics/Creative Designer

Samata Foundation is seeking applications for the position of Graphics/ Creative designer.  The Graphic designer will support the Communications and Outreach unit in production designs and layouts. The Graphic designer will work in close coordination with the Communication Officer. The position is announced for immediate commencement of duty.

Vacancy for a Project Coordinator and a Project Officer

Samata Foundation  is looking for qualified Nepali professionals to fulfill the position of  (i) Project Coordinator – 1 and (ii) Project Officer – 1 for a 4 month “Quest for Dignity” project that aims to expand the civic space in country by engaging civil society leaders (from diverse background), elected representatives, Human Rights institutions and youth. under The Civil Society: Mutual Accountability Project (CS:MAP) supported by USAID (the United States Agency for International Development) and implemented by FHI 360.

Building Agency for Social Justice

The Foundation is implementing a year-long project, “Building Agency for Social Justice” Province 2, to bring about changes in people’s attitudes toward, and understanding of, caste issues generally, and the gender-based violence, and caste-based discrimination, and untouchability experienced by Dalit women in particular.

The Foundation is seeking applications from eligible Nepali nationals for the following positions.

Combating the effects of climate change in particularly badly affected areas of the Ganges – Brahmaputra Basin in South Asia

The Foundation seeks an experienced Project Coordinator for a transnational project on climate change to be executed in Province 2 and Lumbini Province. The applicant should be keen to work for the economic and social resilience of the people affected by climate change in the Ganges-Brahmaputra Basin to improve their livelihood significantly.
